Lots of reorg announcements came out today, but the number of levels between L1 to SVP level are still the same, there are still directors, AVPs, VP, SVP, ... I thought they would trim some middle layers such as AVPs. This seems like just shuffling people around.

As others have said re-orgs are just the song and dance, before the real action happens. They mean little to most of the working folks...
The way it's going to come down, now that all the higher level folks know who they report to, those managers will get the numbers they need to cut and having to make the decisions.

What pisses me off. Is this place is always touting how solid it's leadership is but they're some of the least transparent management I've seen wonder if legal has advised to be like that.
Executives at very top cannot decide whom to chop and whom to keep. With all this reshuffle shuffle shuffle, next step would be asking AVP and Directors to slice n make the bottom
layer lean. Once done, VP will trims AVPs and directors. And GOT will continue

You are absolutely correct, just a bunch of shuffling around in the executive layers. Re-organizing is the way that people who get promoted reward their loyal followers, all the while getting rid of the lower managers and regular employees. It's all smoke and mirrors. What a stupid town all video they put out. Nothing but buzzword, buzzword, new organizations, buzzword, etc. etc.. Nothing of substance. It reminded me of a bunch of preppy frat boys that can't really do anything sitting around saying "Look at how much smarter we are than everyone else.".

Saw the new NEO with all the VP, SVP, EVP and Associate VP. The staff support for this and that, quality control and a lot of the same nonsense but more accountability at the field level. Same t–d wrapped in a different package. They are eviscerating the lower levels but just reshuffling the upper deck chairs on this ship. What a joke, no wonder they can’t be transparent or truthfully in their many town halls, emails and social media.
We added a layer. So much for flattening. Back under a VP we had last year before the last reorg. Talk about a micro managing POS. Everyone was miserable under that guy. I hope to God I get let go so they have to pay me to leave. I’ll wait for that announcement. If not, I’ll find another job and then quit, but I am leaving as fast as I can.

Everyone down to L1 should know by Tuesday next week. You’ll have to wait for all of the Webphone changes to take place to get an accurate view of the new organizational structures and it will take a while for all of them to go through.
D3 Supervisor said there was a planned call for today but rescheduled for Monday for L3 announcements, then he has call on Tuesday for L1-L2 announcement.
