the company group wide have told reps that are level 2, that there work has been rated level 1. the plan is to lower cost by cutting level two reps pay to the high end of rep one pay. This will be company wide and is expected to be a cost saving means after each union contract is up in 2021. that means up to 800 to 1200 in lost wages. way to go AT&T.

I am a higher paid call rep , $22. When the cuts happen I know I will be let go cause of my pay

Keep in mind, it’s taken most of us more than 20 years to reach that pay grade and a ton of b—s— from managers. Plus, most of us have already lived through several surpluses and relocations.

yes most likely. They are offering CSR that have store closing positions in the call center. I am guessing there is alot of Call center reps that will be laid off because of this. Alot of the call center reps are making $19/hour and my guess would be that they cut those higher paying positions first.
