Yeah makes me wonder if it's media trying to get info for an article. If you work here and don't know where the plan is for that you should just opt out.

Management Severance is still paid according to the Management Severance Plan, which is available on HR One Stop for anyone to review. It does max out at 50% salary for those with at least 13 years, and goes down from there.

No, it is not 6 mos. Refer to the severance doc posted internally. Severance Payout is based on years of service. As it is now the payout maxes out at 13 years of service. You get 2wks pay per year of school.

6 months severance is given not because AT&T is being nice, but it is a payout for you to sign the release form to not sue the company and if you do not sign it you get nothing.
