Now that the VP departures are being sent, how long do you reckon before the word on who stays and who goes gets out to the actual workers?
Tomorrow? Next week? Before the end of the month? Or later?

I heard another surplus is targeted for the end of the year that’s if they don’t sell off wireline to another company to avoid severance. Att leadership is made up of sociopaths.
VP told our group today that there will be a wave of lay-offs in July and a second wave later in the year. No further details—that’s all the VP’s have been told so far.

Are you kidding after weeks of sweating it out we now have to wait until July to find out our fate. How awful. We assumed would be next week.

I have heard early July or maybe a little later. In any case, everyone will be off payroll by August 1. So consider the 14 day notification and work back.
