Just leaves a bad taste in the mouth. Employee's hide their badges, don't wear corporate gear, and don't recommend the products. Just far too much negative connotations associated with the name.

I agree, I never wear att swag outside of work and will never make a referral.
Agree. When the company I worked for was acquired by AT&T years ago, a friend of mine who worked for the state department at the time said "HOW EMBARRASSING!!"... gee, this from a fed govt employee... even they look down on AT&T. How right he was, though I did not care to admit it... The truth is I felt really embarrassed to go from a cool tech company to "T".
