Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

More Bad News

WarnerMedia segment forewent about $1.2 billion in licensing revenue by holding back content for HBO Max.

At its investor day in October, AT&T said it would see incremental investments of just $100 million in 2019, stepping up to $2.5 billion in 2020.
But.....
Even if AT&T pulled forward some of those forgone revenues from licensing existing shows, it Will end up spending more than anticipated when you factor in its HBO Max originals and additional licensing expenses

Hey big spender
AT&T HBOMAX will have 1.5B shortfall by EOY.

@1mrv+15w5Fvdv if it's not a "partnership" and they don't make any $, then what is it really ?

I can assure you that IBM isn't making any money on their partnership with AT&T. It's also probably not fair to characterize it as a partnership at this point.

Colossal failure. Download the app - look at the content. Who watches Friends? Really folks?

Add to the fact the obvious virtue signal of “elevating black voices” stream on the app.

I love The Wire one of the best ever. The rest lackluster at best.

Town Hall today and McElfresh was silent when asked how the rollout was going. Wouldn’t give any specifics...

Let me help you. Disney over 15M per quarter, Netflix about the same - HBOMAX..... 3M best case including all existing customers and employees.

It’s going to ZERO!

Sell DTV, sell WarnerMedia, sell it all and focus on the network before it’s too late.
