That's why you have to question how legit the JD Powers Award is. I am sure Kathy had a huge bonus tied on her contract if Hertz were to win JD Powers. That is why there was such a big push. Once we were told to all write positive Glassdoor reviews to get our ratings up! That backfired on them. Every scorecard is rigged so things look better than they really are. I am sure a lot of that is goin on now.
Every metric at Hertz is being rigged at all levels. I remember last years Pulse survey in Minneapolis, and how the leaders would stand behind the employees taking the survey to insure they "got the message" of how to score the results. Hertz and it's leaders are all crooks! So sad!
SMT's are oblivious of the true feelings of the team! Remember the pulse surveys? Management would get reamed with low scores them they blamed the field leadership and forced us to take all these initiatives to improve moral. What they failed to understand is that the employees concerns were not about local managers it was about senior leadership yet they blamed it on the local leaders.
Based on my experience people in Pauls role are not too open to feedback as much as they say they are. Anything you say that goes against them its adios amigos! So yes you need to smile and bite your tongue.
So In other words, you see someone like Paul and you are as fake to them as you feel they are to us.
Makes sense and yet your still employed.
When we see Paul in the Cafeteria we all say how happy we are that he is leading us now.
Yes we praise, and praise and praise him some more. Yes he is leading us, to slaughter that is.
No one has the guts to stand up and say anything. RVP's, ZVP's, Directors and GM's all have to act like good soldiers and follow orders. Any sign of someone not agreeing is looked at as a non team player and will be targeted for termination. So everyone just agrees for the sake of self preservation. No one will voice their opinion that the current strategy is a joke! So until the house burns down their is no use in building on a cracked foundation.
