Over the next several months, we will be threatened with layoffs, the dismantling of our pension plan, and destruction of collective bargaining and the elimination of public services. We don’t know if the fight will take place at the legislature, in the courts, or in the street – or all three places. But we do know we want to send a clear message. We will fight to protect our jobs, protect state services, protect collective bargaining, and protect our pension plan Wear some red piece of clothing every Thursday.

Yeahh! Let’s show our Solidarity and our willingness to fight!

yea, the red shirts will do it.

They must be new or really drinking the CWA kool-aid. The CWA never fights for anything except to keep the clause in the contracts where employees cannot fire the inept CWA except for a specific 2 week period each year. Oh yes, they also fight to keep employees that should have been let go years ago but they will never fight for good employees.

NEWS FLASH - There is no job security. Hasn’t been since the late 80’s. Better off fighting for no give backs.

I was craft for 40 years. Union. Steward, VP. Now retired, but still talk to ex managers and current managers. They laugh at stuff like this. It means nothing. It is mere pablum the Union spews so the members think they are doing something. And notice how the Union does nothing but expect you to do something?

I will never support a union who promotes a party who is treacherous to the country itself. Id rather get laid off.

No one is going to fight anything. Given the choice of taking some money and signing the agreement to no sue the company or fighting it.... everyone will take the money.... including you.
