Found out on Director call this AM. Business Field Services gets screwed again. It's been a roller coaster of good and bad (mostly bad) since 2005 when T SILO'd everything up. Guess this will free up "Business" Field Services to work even more residential broadband orders. Ridiculous for sure.

Makes sense to combine DEG & CO since DEG is an extension of the CO...one less handoff too, no more hot potato between DEG & CO.
@jzl: Business Services: no work, no cuts...almost 1200 jobs cut in the SE within the last year, 0 from BS....some garages have the same # or higher headcount than a decade ago.
Hahahaha!! Good for us (DEG) my friend. So happy! Business is easily the most messed up department in AFO. The amount of unnecessary micro-management is absurd. Stupid techs-training-techs nonsense, having to care about every other departments metrics, techs spending all day on residential broadband orders only to be called out to work on complex 911 PSAP equipment after hours, no direction from leadership. I can't wait to get away from this mess.
