what i could tell of tired director tells me that they would #1 on rif list. they are probably gone, enjoying a few drinks and job hunting. i wish him or her well. they sounded like a kind of decent person.

The Tired Director gave you plenty of info. Not all of you listened. Like the Tired Director, I have many inside connections although I am gone from mess of a company. The TD was laid off in the last go round. And that s—s. No matter how much you may have expected it, it still is a blow to be cast aside from the company to which you dedicated many years. Let him/her rest in peace. Meanwhile, rather than expecting someone else to tell you the inside scope, go develop your own network and your own grapevine so you're not left flatfooted when your "connection" leaves. That's something I emphasized to my former team. Get connections. Know what is going on. Share your information with people you trust. And get the hell out if you can.
I agree the tired director knows things. Last time I volunteered I got reply turned down email sent Sunday 5/17/20 Next day 5/18/20 my site had RIF's. I think same happens Sunday 6/21/20 reject volunteers notified then 6/22/20 RIF's start.
The Phx Aero employee here values Tired Director input. Insight provided to date matches info from other reliable sources. So far, all leaks have been spot on with actual events.
Latest on HCE SW Center in Atlanta.. a few more people RIF'ed this week (Mon, June 15).
