Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

People managers will be hit harder than non-managers

An interesting thing is that these reductions will be blamed on COVID when it is really all about high dept (thanks Stinky) and the Elliot Management Group demanding better efficiencies. After all, how many people do you think really turned in their cell phones over COVID? Very few. Most people would get rid of their spouse before they would get rid of their phone. Sure, payments might be delayed, but not eliminated. Randy didn't bring the debt down fast enough, so he is out and Stinky doesn't want to suffer the same fate, so he has the hatchet out and that is all there is to it.

We have been hearing for 4-5 years that 2020 was supposed to be the year that we would see big cuts. Nothing would surprise me on that front.
