Seriously what arrogance to try to compete with netflix in their domain where they excel and they are experts and not only that, but wait for it....charge more than netflix does with an inferior product. HBO MAX should charge no more than $8.99 per month and even then, it may be too expensive. I mean stick to what you do best, you don't see Netflix trying to sell Centrex and 1MBs. I can't believe AT&T bungled this so bad, they had uverse and directv but instead of trying to improve on those products and cater them to upper middle class which perceives streaming as an add-on, they ditched these premium products and got into the gutter to go after money of those who live at home with their parents. Unbelievable!

It's a joke. The rollout was a joke. The branding is a confusing joke that no one understands or can explain. The content was best explained as "an odd hodgepodge of content".
They want to sell the game division because it's an asset with value and they need cash. Most of the other 'assets' they overpaid for have very little value to an external buyer. This is just another example of how they are dismantling the company and selling off anything with value to raise cash. Eventually they will run out of stuff to sell and be left with a meaningless and worthless shell of a company.
The only video game randy and stank know is pong. Therefore they must get rid of anything they know nothing about.
HBO Max is mostly all old stuff- I sure don’t find it impressive.
I hear that ATT wants to sell the WB video game division , its the ONLY thing at WB that is enjoyed by people all over the world ! Makes no sense unless we are so broke that we are close to disaster ! In my opinion .
They should pursue a DSL product ... and a broadcast television product? No, no they shouldn't.
