Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Have the layoffs been called off but management is just too incompetent to let us know?

There have only been a few credible reports among the piles of speculation and racist nonsense on this site about the layoffs, and of those it seems some of the reductions won't happen for another month.

Wasn't this supposed to be some genocide-level layoff, affecting all business units and groups within the company? And yet for most groups not a single peep.

Leave it to the bumbling group of jackholes running this company to just leave everyone twisting in the wind without a word.

Scott Mair (President, ATO, NEO, ELO. whatever the flip the name of the week is) plainly stated yesterday that major cuts will happen in July. Agreed, the timeline seems to have been pushed back from what was originally forecasted.

Correction - tomorrow is the beginning. This “round” will be significant and take another three months to fully flesh out. And after that, back to periodic downsizing.

If only more people would just leave on their own, then the executives would not be in this position.
