Throw all the little tantrums you want, you are gone too WT Wonderboy.
“YOU CAN’T BUMP A WIRE TECH” if y’all can read a simple contract a wire tech can’t be bumped! Unless you want to give up what you have! You core people just wish you could to save your lazy a– jobs that has driven this company into the ground! I’m a wire tech that’s made $80,000 a year with out sitting in my truck using a time code and Return to Myself c-ap to fudge my numbers! How hard is it to be a skilled/craft y’all sh– barely works we can see colors we know which one goes where stop hiding behind The terminal! You don’t know more than us! You just know how to screw off more than us!
I’ve been through 3 surpluses with Bellsouth as an OPT and an ST. The make it next to impossible to bump a WT. If there is an opening for a WT in 35 miles, you may lucky enough to claim one. However, you do not get to pick and choose WT’s to bump. You can be surplused in Louisville and as long as there is an opening for a WT in any of the 9 states that Bellsouth covers, you have to take the that job first. The only way you can bump a WT is if there are no other openings for WT’s in the 9 states, and even then the 35 mile rule doesn’t apply like it does when bumping core techs.
Love the guy who can’t spell mo–n correct. Must be a WT/wire tech hahahaha
I've seen it in d3 at least 20 times, except the wire techs didnt have to leave they just let the service techs add to headcount, and op there will be no where to go across the country, surplus is all over
It's weird how many WT believe they are immune to the next waves of surplus.
Delusional to say the least.
D6 Texas. I used to be a CST and I bumped a PREMTECH when I was surplused so don’t believe it won’t happen. Now if only I can get back to a CST.... good thing I have highest seniority.
WT? I can make more driving a school bus.
nobody wants that sorry job.get over yourselves
Lol that’s the most stupid thing I’ve read hear. An St can bump a WT very easily because there’s virtually no other place to bump. As long as you fill out they bump sheet correctly then you can easily get a WT within 35miles. Seen it 2qtrs ago where 1 st & 1 opt both got local WT jobs
You can’t bump a Wire Tech in D3. They (staffing) have made it impossible to. It’s in the contract that we can, but our wonderful staffing department, which is nothing but outsourced contractors, will not allow any core techs to bump WT’s.
Awhaha, haha CWA screwed up, again. keep paying dues useless mirons
All core techs affected are offered VSP or a selection of preference to move out of the current organization.
If you don’t choose VSP and don’t select the workgroup outside of the org (job offer guarantee) and you still fall at risk you are considered off payroll when the time comes.
The company views your decision not to take VSP or another role offered as your final decisions.
Also if you choose to move to the other role you will be required to relocate to the new work address.
Lol no one wants your job anyway. I'll leave before I ever become a WT.
I don't know about the rest of the districts but here in D3 we can.
