My boss told us on our team call this week that his boss still hasn’t been given marching orders but to expect notifications by July 15th for an end date by Aug 1. Boss seemed to be telling the truth that they haven’t been told anything yet.
Some will know this week others will know after the holiday. Deep cuts across the board. New structure in place for August.
Just off the NEO call, consensus is notices for us in July. Contrary to what we all thought, there appears to be no urgency in getting folks off payroll by 7/1.
@xmu I think you’re right, either notice has to be given on Tuesday or you can’t get folks off payroll by the end of Q2.
i don't understand how it could be this wed. if it's a 2 week notice and they want you gone by end of june, to head into 3rd quarter without your headcount and payroll cost? isn't this Tuesday close of business us time the last moment they could so to accomplish starting july without you?
