I listened to almost the entire call with a slight interruption at one point —— is it true she never said one word about HBO MAX? While it may not fall into her domain it was a major strategy for ATT and we should have gotten a progress report. If she did not mention it, silence on the topic says everything. Looking forward to hearing Mair’s thall at 14:00 today and how he spins all this. He is not the best public speaker and usually gets tripped on a talking point or two.

The morale of the story is, employees are getting the same treatment as customers. They are telling us repeatedly everything we already know, but not giving us anything we need.

Lay me off, fine, just tell what my end date and get my package ready. Stop all these BS about how great the company doing. This is a reality show no one wants to watch.

Five minutes?

Two minutes?

If you placed a bet on NO minutes devoted to reductions, looks like you will be cashing in.

Congratulations.

Laptop open like they are reading questions that are coming in as the town hall plays.

Cut to camera view of pre selected questions on index card.

There goes the lie!!

"It's not about cutting; it's about positioning resources."

Lay of 1000.
Hire 1.

"We're hiring in some places and reducing in others!"

I do feel racial injustice and Covid 19 are important issues and we can make a difference collectively. We, employees, have no confidences in these so call leaders in the company, plenty of evidences in horrible business directions and layoffs. Can we count on them to take a lead on social issues, don't make me laugh. How can self serving, dysfunctional group of fat cats be successful in doing anything but benefit themselves? Stop the corporate BS, there is no credibility. What the company has done the glorious past has nothing to do with current failures now.

Of course, she punted the question to the other dude. Nothing like taking ownership of what her minions are doing.

1:24 spent on reductions. And she deflected the question to this other guy. Laughable

All she does is put her mug on everything in order to build her "personal brand."

Remember, she is a direct recipient of the scandalous practice of borrowing tens of billions of dollars to pay a dividend on profits that don't exist. Her compensation is tied to stock price, which is an illusory, meaningless figure, especially when you consider the ethical violations that are going on in order to prop it up while mortgaging the company's future.
