Friday got my notice :( my time is up with At&t so much hard work for nothing ....good luck to all of you.... If you decide to stay in another position be prepared for a huge paycut.

In other words, get paid your market value, as opposed to the 35 yrs of meaningless raises, for doing the same thing, for 35yrs
What area of the business? Can you tell us how many years, what your pay was and severance amount?

I'm truly sorry for you and anyone who finds themselves laid off.
I hope you land on your feet somewhere that makes you happy. Hopefully , you'll find something that makes you happier than att ever could. If you don't mind the ask, what position in the company are you. Craft , management etc
