The CEO pledge 10million dollars which I believed came out to ~700$ to Honeywell employees? Does anyone know what the qualifications were to receive this money. From what I hear between the two UOP sites no one has received anything. Was that just a PR moves? How can you lay-off IRIF VRIF and give out money?

Seems people under 10 years service been getting it or guess married and kids. I have over 30 years single and NADA from them darn guess need marry have kids LOL
You have to be employed December 19, 2020 to collect - like all the other great benefits.
you couldn't apply for the money, it was somehow magically poofed to persons in need from COVID19. yeah, they know our names and our needs and our families stuff...it was just to make someone who couldn't compete with the my pillow guy in producing masks we already make.....hhhmmmmmm...I wish the my pillow guy was hiring!!!
From the last RIF, that money that DA was supposed to be pass it on will never need to see the light of day since they won't be anyone left.
Maybe its been a play all this while to appear generous but in fact, malicious. Where did they learn such tactics?
The $700 allows for greater and deeper RIF. Which in turn the skim allows for getting rid of more and more of the existing US and European work force and backfill with lower cost employees from low wage country. Also serves as a great PR stunt.
