Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Here is why Honeywell employees will be leaving even if they survive Reductions In Force

  1. Leaders are narcissist micromanagers
  2. Employees must work overtime to hit a quota so the numbers look good (1.15% EEI)
  3. No vacations as per unlimited vacation policy
  4. No changes to be made to work from home policy albeit COVID will remain a public health risk
  5. Employees miss out on market returns via yearly 401k lump sum match
  6. Employees are charged penalties unless they have a Body Mass Index of an athlete
  7. Honeywell uses malicious tactics at expense of employee. HON staggering 1 week layoffs to hinder employee unemployment claims
  8. Mixed messages from incompetent leadership
  9. Utter disregard for any issues affecting employees outside of work (protests, riots, and police violence)

Have hope - I found a new job and worked my last day 6/5 at HON. I couldn't handle it anymore and I'm not looking back. Best wishes to everyone - good luck!

There is no future at honeywell. Period. The future of Honeywell is cost cutting, sh–ty or zero raises except for leadership, furloughs and RIFs. This is only the beginning. Honeywell hasn't innovated anything in 20 years and even out engines and APUs are all old tech with zero new technology. The "leaders" have refused to reinvest into the company because that takes away from the almighty stock price and we just can't have that, can we?

Write down the names of all these micromanagers and perform contact-tracing to determine the boundaries of their network. It is important for the world to know 'the exact nature of these people' and their TOXIC management techniques so that some books can be published for future generations.

These nasty natured managers have been emboldened by 'silence from the lambs' and their 'silent suffering'. It is time for LION-hearted LAMBERTS to come out and identify these people and ensure they are ostracized properly and held "ACCOUNTABLE" for abusing people's goodwill.

It's when good people do nothing and choose to endure and ignore—when 'evil' managers prevail!

Stand up and assert your moral position with moral fortitude. Otherwise, the good managers will be crushed by the weight of these toxic managers.

@1oem...

How many times are you going to tell the same sad story?

Got to let it go sometime.

Some here saw the reasoning for the action.

What you have to realize about Honeywell is they do not care about retaining talent. At all.

What they’d rather do is work you to the bone, not pay you for your time and then fire you when you complain. The sooner you realize this, the faster you can leave the company. Nothing Honeywell does is for the employee’s benefit. They offer health insurance because they must so they offer the cheapest (for them) and lowest quality (for the employee) insurance to prove that point. Same with most other “benefits”.

Don’t forget health benefits only marginally cheaper than what you could get for your family through the Affordable Care Act and no employer contribution to offset the cost like most other companies offering a high deductible, high premium plan.
