Joe McPherson is now number 2 person at Hertz. He lied, cheated, his way to VP of SW region, and now Paul Stone rewards that with a promotion. This company does not even want to try and stay afloat. Everyone says business as usual. "We are not going out of business, we just declared chapter 11, that does't mean anything" 20 billion in debt does mean something, who will forgive that amount of debt. Wake up people, this is a royal mess. The 300 plus who just got the bonus so they didn't leave, while 160000 others are gone forever. This company is without any moral compass what so ever. I am mad, sick, disgusted, and saddened by these Executives who care nothing for us, but tell us otherwise on these webex calls. They think they lie so well, I see right though them, and I hope you will too.

Yes everything you have noted is true., He lied to the employees and he cheated his employees. Both perfect qualifications for a senior position at Hertz. What did you think? They would bring in someone with ethics who cared about the people they led? Why would they do that. He did all the dirty work to get on Pauls good side and now he is being rewarded for it. But he does not know this role is the kiss of death for your career at Hertz. Once Paul is ousted (which should be within 6 months) the new CEO will bring in his own trusted #2 and Joe will be gone,
