Applied for three opportunities outside of the gravity of the AT&T planet last Friday after receiving the news that I was "surplus". Three call backs. Two sets of interviews. And today a pending job offer. There is light outside of AT&T. And my recent experience in the "COVID" marketplace demonstrates that AT&T made some really bad decisions with some of those that they released. At this point, I wonder if they were more focused on keeping some of us from reaching the MR 75 rule. Regardless, Buh-Bye to the CEO twins and their sharpshooting consultant. Nice work Team!

Congratulations! And thanks for posting some hope.
Congrats and good luck! There is a bright new world with lots of job opportunities outside T.
For those that are just beginning their job search, take a bit of time off and get the bad T karma out of your system. Believe me, you don't realize how much of it is in there. Jump on the web and look for resources that will help you creating and polish a resume and improve your interview skills. There are a lot of excellent places that will do this for free, but you must look and be willing to give back and help others. Get your resume in shape and start looking.
It's not a death sentence, it's a new opportunity. Make the most of it.
att is so screwed up it isn't even funny so the bar is set really low for you next gig. congrats
Good for you. If you are so inclined, you should post how you managed this to assist your old team mates who are not as experienced or talented as you.
I have seen brilliant people, who do not understand how to fiddle with resume. Or the don’t interview well, etc.
Congratulations and Good Luck. That kind of news makes me very, very happy. Just had our first kid three weeks ago. Still stunned and frazzled but dusting myself off and carrying on.
