It seems a fair number of management layoffs so far in July but mostly L1 and L2. Although not all, most L3-L5 seem to be immune to layoffs. My guess is that L3-L5 also heavily skews toward having M75 status.
For people still employed that goes away on 1-1-21, supposedly even for L3-L5.
What is up? Are L3-L5 getting a special deal if they stay around after the first of the year or are they waiting until December to pull the plug, or are they just going to forsake retiree health care rather than lose employment and other benefits?
I can see a L4 who is in their early 50’s wanting to stay employed but what about someone who is 60-62?
Any thoughts on this?
