You know if AT&T and HBO were smart enough to rub a couple company sticks together.. They would own the whole media landscape.. :) The problem there is nepotism and rich RNC white men.. Have fun with that. Oh and a lot of Fred and Randall going on.. not so much Ralph the immigrant guy who built his way up from scratch.. we never hear about him anymore.

I knew when Ralph, Bill Smith, and Gary Ludgood left we were up the creek. Those men saw the writing on the wall and had too much integrity to stick around. I spent some of the best years of my life at BellSouth with some of the finest people I have ever had the pleasure of working with. We respected our leadership and worked hard, and they respected us. Back then, we were a team and Hugh Jacks wasn’t too good to speak. He didn’t hide out in an ivory tower. I think of those times often and I remember when BellSouth almost bought AT&T. Things would be a lot different today if that deal had gone through. So I’m just biding my time and feeling so grateful that I have those memories and those friendships that mean so much to me. Good luck everyone. I don’t plan to hang around and keep supporting the rearrangement of the deck chairs on the Titanic for too much longer.
