You took the job, so you own it. That was your first big mistake, in a series of unforced errors. Most of them amount to wishing your CEO were an entirely different person: less impulsive, less attracted to fame theories, less voluble. reality is your mistakes are within your power to change.

When I joined AT&T (actually BellSouth at the time), working for them was like working for any other great company in America. They were selective because they knew they were offering a career not just a job. I had to pass an IQ test (that is how you got hired those days) and I took a pay cut to be with a genuinely great American company. I have never regretted that move. No one could foresee what happened with merger and then wrong decisions by Randall and Stankey that have put the company and great employees at this tough place.

On CEO's, Randall Stephenson specifically and his long list of errors, all started after his first meeting with Obama. The company, Management and Union both started its swan dive into the pavement. RS was star struck with the leader of domestic & international terrorism, and the American Communist Party. Look at what Obama did to this country and what started on his watch: Antifa, BLM, ISIS, Targeted Police. Look at what RS did to this company, and now look at what RS is promoting: BLM, Antifa, Defund the Police. The parallels are obvious, glaring and shocking.
