Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

WFH no layoffs?

Hi as I waited last Friday for the impending call I never received. I work in the Bloomington Minnesota office and currently still work from home doing credit support. Am I safe?

Working from home in the credit and collections department - do you still have access to SPI? Our department refuses to let us work from home because they say they cannot figure out how to mask data, and that the legal department won’t budge for us...

Credit & Collections tasks will be shifted to frontline agents Mexico Agents or Third Parties. Lease is up January 2021 so you may have a few more months. Expect to train your replacement.

Don't worry, they just haven't gotten to you yet. There are more surplus conditions coming down the pike.

I can’t believe there are people in this company who may think they are safe.

CSO was told in a Bill O'Hern call that reductions would be made in "early August", so I expect there's more to come for all BUs.

No, I've heard announcements will be spread out. Last Friday (7/10) was not the only schedule. If you haven't received an all clear notice, then it is still going.
