More AERO Minneapolis layoffs today

More people on the production floor were laid off today in Minneapolis... Does not seem like it's the end either...

I just don't get it. TGP was still making money hand over fist, now I don't see what can happen besides plummeting yields and stopped lines. The only explanations that make sense are A) the bigwigs are too out of touch to know what engineering support is or B) this is intended to be a short-term arrangement until the plant is closed or sold.

@Stanley
Big time. They cut out almost all floor support AME (80%) and lots of other O&T, I heard today that ridgeway has lost over 25% of their work force since May.

Is this the Ridgway parkway facility? Is the ring laser gyro business being hit?
