With regard to the one-sided script calls we’ve had in the past... if you’re invited to the first call you’re not safe, if you’re invited to the second call you’re safe. You can get a list of your org from webphone, then enter the names into a calendar appointment and then check availability. The people with blank space on their calendar during the “safe” call are probably on the not safe call. It’s not perfect but you can get an idea who was invited to which call.

Well, what do you expect when you have a mediocre manager like Anne Chow who keeps getting promoted to increase our so called "diversity"?

You will get invited to a call with every participant muted. Script will be read by some hr person or supervisor level in your org. You will be told you have no job. End of story. It wont take long. Similar to a gunshot or machete whack. Boom, then over. But at least in this case, life goes on. So cheer up.

In the past, and within the Chow organization, conference call invites were sent out that were back to back. There were 3 calls... one that indicated that you were safe. A second that indicated you might be affected by a surplus and have an option to elect to take a package. Finally , there was a third call that indicated you were being surplussed. Attendees were blocked out so no one could see who else was on the call. Everyone was always reaching out to see which call everyone was on. The speaker on the call was reading a script and they were short and to the point... no Q and A allowed. Wondering if this round will be handled in the same way.

As usual; messed up, poor communication, little to no transparency and reconfigured multiple times.

SBC has tried to reinvent the wheel too many times it’s become a Bermuda triangle of how not to manage

Calls will be made on July 10, as noted.

Different groups will probably hear at different times, rather than everybody being told simultaneously.

Yes. You're going to be told you're fired. You don't have a job. That's how "surpluses" always "roll out". They got you so brainwashed in that place you're even talking like them.
