Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Urbana Aero RIF this week.

These are just the people I know. I don't know anyone that may have been let go from Carpetland (people WFH since March).

1st in charge of all ISC production and assembly named JR is gone.

Out of 7 Production Engineers, 2 are still here.

Supervisors in my area of floor folk had 5 positions cut. I dont know about the rest of the facility.

Rumor is that all IT staff are gone. Not that I would know the difference.

We are so understaffed right now. It's hard to describe. We have 10 operators between 2 shifts unless I'm forgetting someone. That means we can do 400 hours a week of work if we and SAP perfectly represented the set up and labor time. We are over 1000 hours behind. I want to say we are damn close to 2000 behind. And we are the beginning of the ISC so we have to make stuff before it gets put together.

Now big rumors are blowing up from people that know people that a HUGE announcement will come in August for our plant. Cant worked for that.

Hard to have team building events with no team members left

Carpet land may not ever come back. The one Leader here that cared about us is gone....no more hockey games or familys theme park outings. Definitely not anymore team building events. :(

Greer is also going away. Olathe, nothing but R&O if that part survives.

Yes, when they got rid of Russell St the writing was on the wall. Consolidating and then move to Florida. :(. I love Urbana.
