With the 2018 Corporate Tax Cuts and the Fed now buying AT&T's bonds to save them from becoming junk, all while AT&T lays off tens of thousands, how can they lose?
Does anyone not understand how we all (non-rich) are being hosed? Dems/Reps/libs/cons, understand who the real enemy is. It't not each other, it's Wall Street, corporations, and billionaires. Please wake up before it's too late.
The government will prop up att in any way it needs to guarantee survival. Att supports critical infrastructure that the 3 letter agencies and the DOD rely on. This is a prearranged BAU plan to be used as needed.

AT&T will be stupid about layoffs like they usually are with everything they’ve done to destroy the company over the last 20 years or so. Instead of offering the most senior technicians across the country in the out of region states the opportunity to leave with an early retirement package which makes the most sense, they’ll do the opposite. They’ll keep older guys that are ready to leave voluntarily and force involuntary layoffs to the younger techs with families that still need a job! In the OOR states like AZ, AT&T is actually hiring loads of technicians while forcibly laying off in other parts of the country. The impacted technicians aren’t even given the opportunity to fill those new positions. They’re hiring temps to fill the needs. This company’s best days are behind it, long gone! It’s time for AT&T to offer a voluntary package to ALL techs nationwide with 25 years or more so younger guys with families can still have their dignity! Unfortunately, we all know the AT&T way from it’s history!
