There is hope after leaving T, and can attest to LOOK NOW if you are still at T. I took a 25% pay increase in landing another IT job.

I’d someone really had moved on to greener pastures, why would they hang out on an ATT Lay-off forum? Sounds like a real waste of time.
Thanks for the encouragement. I don't know that I can make as much as I do already, but hopefully. :| And hopefully my age does not count against me when looking (over 50, planning to work for 11-12 more years).
Thanks for this post!
For those who have found better job/money...
What is your title/skillset and what part of the country are you in?
There are a series of extra hurdles women have to go through in order to be promoted. Attractive and thin women are more likely to get promotions than their heavier colleges. The cultural fixation on women’s body size is affecting how they advance in their careers and how much money they make. The judgments might be subconscious; a boss might not even realize that’s why they do not hire or promote someone, but it is a culturalized behavior that must change.
Needed to see this. Thank you
Truth I am making more after att and have the same title. Att is overrated for sure.
And the best thing about finding a new job elsewhere is you don’t have to put up with any c-ap from a union disrupting the workforce from always threatening a strike.
I make 40K plus more than I did at AT&T. Could probably make $30K more once I level up to a FAANG. AT&T is trash lol. Once I saw their lack of loyalty, I took adventage of their training and my own personal training and left.
T has NEVER been able to streamline IT systems. IT is run by id1ots that don't know anything about IT. To T mismanagement, IT is just a cost center and the Globalists blindly replace the Americans from ATT with Mumbai U grads and thinking they are more skilled, when actually they just provide cheaper, shoddy work.
Poster is right. If you have half of a brain, and are somewhat ethical, you’ll find something better for sure. Nothing but cheats at that company.
