What's the daily life like? Does it look like there is light at the end if the tunnel? Is there a mass exit of employees happening? Fill us in from operations because VPs in operations are acting like everything is back to normal and filing bankruptcy was a blessing for Hertz to come back better than ever...

Dreading having to go to work everyday. Fake smiles all over.
Most in estero that are left are looking for new jobs... I hear about 2-3 I know quitting each week.
Hertz is the Fyre Festival of car rental companies. Now everyone knows it.
We all clearly see the end is near. The courts have control telling us what to do and how much we can spend. It is financially imppossible to run our current operations based on the guidelines set. We are stalling for time currently.
The inexperience of the senior team is clear in their lack of strategy and planning to save the company. Instead it is cheerleader rah rah mentality. The plan is to have employees post on their social media of how we will come out of this stronger. And continue to cut much needed roles and create new roles for their puppets to spread their propaganda. Everyone and I mean everyone at Estero is getting by day by day showing we are all good soldiers for Hertz . At the same time actively looking for new jobs. For many of us its so sad to leave Hertz a company we have spent many years at and worked with some great people. We all recognize a sinking ship and Hertz is taking on water fast!
Doing enough so perception is meaningful and I’m achieving responsibilities. Getting a paycheck to take courses for certifications that will help me get a new job somewhere else.
They have started the brain wash techniques and it has worked for some. They want us to to say and post on Social Media that we will come out stronger than before. Not sure how with over 20 billion in debt and counting.
I get it many are not qualified for The Vice President and Senior Director titles so they are drinking the kool aid.
