So I was told if you get a assessment, you on the chopping block. If you don't, you are safe. They are getting rid of the MCO's. Getting rid of processors. My manager says this is what she is being told. The RCLs know already who is going. They still want to get the work done. So they all say they know nothing. Shame on Allstate!

There will probably be a mass hiring within 6 months of this lay-off because they cannot get the work done with a smaller staff. Once people start driving again the claims will go up and they will be scrambling to fill positions. But what about the people hired within the past 6 months? They left jobs to go to Allstate and now they will be unemployed? That is not fair. They were not even given a chance to become efficient in their positions so it’s a guarantee they will be laid off, no experience, not efficient and no tenure. No job market. Becoming homeless is a possibility.
The company changed the rules, now managers can select who takes the assessment and who doesn't, some are just being laid off and no chance to stay.
There are recruiters who are just being given notice they will be gone. There are claims employees who are going to be notified of the same fate.
We have been told assessments are administered by a third party vendor, they will compile them and then provide the results from #1 to the last person to the managers. It looks like if you have unfavorable review last year kiss your a– goodbye. If you were average or above average the assessment rankings will be a vital part. An employees longevity will be used if a tie breaker is required.
If you take an assessment, will you be able to see the results and how you fared against your >competition if you get laid off? Or will we just have to accept then verbally telling us how we fared >with no proof?
This made me chuckle...
“Dear Santa, this year I have been extra good. All I want is an assessment letter.”

Feel sorry for those of you still working for this company. Most upper managers s—. They make things up to remove people from their jobs, they hire incompetent individuals who literally have no experience in the jobs they are being hired for and they are a bunch of a– kissers who only want yes people working for them.
And if they are making all of you wait 6+ weeks before laying you off, that is just terrible. Why make your employees miserable for a month and half. If you are going to lay off nearly 10% of your employees, you do it within a week of making the announcement. Why add all this grief and anxiety at a time when people are already very anxious about life.
Allstate management s—s the big one. Glad I am no longer there. Good luck all...except to those sh!t for brains who are a—kissers! YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!
Assessments are a farce. They know exactly who is being let go but they are trying to create a sense of false hope in an effort to keep pendings down and maintain control by retaining as many employees as possible prior to their preset time of layoffs. They are attempting to avoid an all out panic of having a lot of employees leave before they want them to.
How do you all still have processors in LDU? Ours were cut almost 3 years ago and the work was passed to us! So first if you get the assessment you're on the chopping block but if you don't get it you're safe or on the chopping block? Geez which one is it? They should've nevr made this announcement if they were not going to tell us which employees were being cut. I
Will survey results be factored into the assessment? Asking for a friend
Yeah I agree with you on the assessment? How subtle could it be to distinguish between thousands? My guess is they already know, but are using the assessment to confirm their choices...
I’m changing my policy to a different company regardless of what happens to me... in the past I could justify the higher premium because I believed in my employer and the quality. Not so much anymore
After full dedication and great results an assessment! Seriously. We model , adapt and change with times and process and you going to test me. Maybe assessment should start with vp but oh I forgot all their jobs are safe and they even added more . Let’s see them handle the claims to service people. How can my manager motivate me when they don’t know if they have a job. Assessment should go to those that don’t perform! I’m punished as a person and a assessment will tell you if I am worse than someone that doesn’t oerform or have good customer service . Seriously. Interesting too how Tom sold back his stock before it dipped. What did he know that we stockholders didn’t
"If you get an assessment you are in a job that is being reduced and the assessment will be used to determine if you are the one kept or not.
If you do not get an assessment you are either completely safe or your job is being cut entirely."
This is very reassuring. If you get an assessment you are out, if you don't get and assessment your are out or possibly completely safe.
The assessment will be administered by a third party and is designed to measure the skills of the future that leadership has identified (analytical/critical thinking, change agility, etc.).
Processors are done. Work will goto staff to do themselves or sent remote to GENPACT.
I do not believe that they are getting rid of processors! Really? How would your manager be privileged to that information? You can pay processors less than adjusters and they do quite a bit to help us adjusters! That is just wrong if that is true!

Same here, we were told this:
If you get an assessment you are in a job that is being reduced and the assessment will be used to determine if you are the one kept or not.
If you do not get an assessment you are either completely safe or your job is being cut entirely.
Does anyone know what will be factored into the assessment and when we’ll be doing them?
She only said processors. I know in LDU, we have processors. Claims are crazy, so to cut LDU, where is all that work going?? So I don't know which processors, but they can consolidate those positions. I don't know how you cut LDU tho.
Processors? Which kind of processor? Where is that work going?
We were told something similar
If you get an assessment you are in a job that is being reduced and the assessment will be used to determine if you are the one kept or not.
If you do not get an assessment you are either completely safe or your job is being cut entirely.
