Sorry to hear that! Todays my first day free from ‘The Goldens handcuffs’ I worn for 24 years. It’s stressful to be let go but you should have severance through mid Dec. Check to see if you have grandfathered vacation time. It’s in your personal info in HR Direct, I had 120 hrs. Everyone who’s been w HON around 20+ years should go check and take a screenshot. I don’t recall why I have that but was a nice lump of cash.
So sorry to hear that. I have in over 35 and will be gone soon. Sad that they are targeting the knowledgeable and experienced people. I believe that HWis moving toward a sell off. Being let go might be a good thing. Look for new opportunities, I know that I am. Good luck.
