If you get the layoff notice are you expected to keep working and doing your job during those 60 days? I wonder if they use severance as the carrot to keep you on the job until it is fully transitioned, or else you won’t be eligible to receive severance. That’d be a real kick in the gut.

The call our department was on yesterday with a VP from home office the information was that those who are in a job that is being eliminated will receive a notice on July 15th

If you are being evaluated against your peers to see if you get get one of the reduced jobs you will be told you are keeping a job or getting a layoff notice between Aug 15th and Aug 30th
