Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

What happened this week?

We know there were some layoffs this week, but not too many if I'm not mistaken? So is this the warm-up stage? Prepping the field before the main event? Just upping the anxiety and anticipation factors in hopes some of us break and decide to quit? Just wondering...

Mid July has been communicated several times. Off payroll would be July 31st since new orgs start on August 1st. We will see more info each Friday I believe but who knows.

@top+15E3FC6Y - Yeah, I love the "Well I'm sure at some point in the next 15 years there will be surplus actions across this massive ever-changing tech company." answer everyone gives. Inevitably followed at some point with praise that we are all fantastic and invaluable to AT&T, so keep up the good work. Yeah sure.

Please quit treating us like we are stupid.

Not much this week other than a few town halls where Execs pretended to not know anything about the upcoming surplus. Transparency, yea....
