With stores closed, BN should’ve beefed up their on line shipping..
They didn’t.
The result is losing more customers to Amazon.
Amazon isn’t stealing your customers. You’re giving them to them !
Bring down BN! Close all stores, fire all brainwashed employees. Make them pay for their broken lease agreements. Make BN suffer the way you have.
My Amazon orders ALWAYS arrive on the date promised . Last 2 Barnes & Noble orders I did took longer than promised even though I paid extra shipping to get them sooner. Will never use them again. They’ve had a lot more years in the business than Amazon. If they couldn’t get their pathetic shipping under control by now, they never will.
Just ordered 3 hardcovers & 2 paperbacks from Amazon, last night. They’ll be here Monday.
And guess what? They arrived when Amazon said they would ! That’s good customer service. Take note Barnes. That’s how it’s done !
Time to bring down BN. Everyone needs to help to put this company out of business. It can be done.
They will just hire younger people at less pay to do the same job.
Cost Cutting. Experience doesn't matter.
I’ve post on several “senior” sites about their practices. LOTS of support to shop elsewhere.
Too old to work there means too old to shop there.

Exactly!
BN does this every couple of years to weed out the older employees. Hire more kids will work cheap and without benefits.
Over half the buyers were laid off. The perfect opportunity to eliminate older employees with the virus excuse.
