What exactly will be the severance for Managers. I’ve read where it said “up to” 6 months of pay, and it sounded more like 6 months of benefits. What does it really look like?

Does anyone know if the company can or will change the current severance package mid year?They changed the off payroll date from 60 days to 14 days when laid off and I’m wondering what’s next.
Honesty if you can’t figure this out on your own using internal resources, you shouldn’t even be a manager.

The answer to this has been posted many times. I’m Retail so maybe it’s different for others, but It’s not 6 months. And it depends on how many years you’ve been here. Severance is your annual base plus any at risk, multiply that by 80%, then multiply that by your % (you need to check one stop to see your % based on how many years with the company). Example: base pay $60,000 plus $22,000 at risk equals 82,000 times 80% times EX 50% equals 32,800 severance before taxes. If you’ve been here over 13 years you get the 50%, but 7 years is only 28%, that you will need to look up, it’s right in one stop under severance. The health is trickier to understand...says discounted for 6 months depending on if you’re over a certain amount of years. Dental ends same month we leave.
