Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

What If ...

Honeywell truly viewed people as their greatest asset?
HR actually cared about the development of people?
Knew what a marketing strategy was?
Did more than just pay lip service to the latest business tool (Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, Digitization, etc., etc.)
Embraced technology and promoted a virtual work place rather than physical office space.
Valued experience in the professional ranks.
Understood that diversity is a reflection of society and not a target.

  • oh but I could go on all day.

Then it wouldn't be Honeywell. The disciples of Jack Welch have it circling the bowl just like GE. The world is a better place without Welch and his toxic hypocrisy. And the world will be a better place when his disciples, especially the ones that have ruined Honeywell, have to answer to God for what they have done to others for a penny.

Then they would be a top tech company to work at and not an old school engineering company which they are.

They used to say people were their greatest asset. It actually made people feel/do better, and morale was great. No more, though. 😢
