Torrance CA has had 3 cases in 3 weeks despite all they safeguards they say they have in place! Latest employee affected in an area that was disinfected 4 days prior, according to Health & Safety.

Interesting, my post was removed as well. I was simply quoting W.H.O. officials and government panels about how coronavirus is only a third as bad as 2017-2018 flu.

Interesting. My post was deleted even though a reply to it was not. There was nothing offensive in it and it was on topic.

Redmond plant had 1 announced case a few months ago and one death "not attributed to Covid." Since then, none have been announced, despite 20% of factory calling in sick on any given day. No way you can expect me to believe that none of these sick people have Covid.

1jns, why are cubes labeled A, B, C. This is to stagger people, show up on your days only. Makes no sense if we only have 1/3 at a time. Seems a lot like it is right now. Many workers can WFH, and many have jobs need to be in plant. So now they will make WFH'ers come to office and send home those that need to be in plant. We should just keep doing what we are doing.

Our cubes are already labeled A B C for the team you're on. Corporate management wants everybody back. In a town hall it was said that WFH was not an option because having some people in the office and some at home wouldn't work so everyone would need to come in. Local management seems to be more reasonable.

@epz. I don't know of anyone who could work from home that has been mandated to return to their plant. I can only speak to the Aero plants in the Phoenix area.

@egw...

Ok, what is your proposal?
Shut the plants down? This would be 3 months then with no pay except unemployment plus the fed kicker which won't last forever.

So, I get the risk but I don't have a better idea. Can't build anything unless you touch it.

Is your idea to shut down the plants but keep full pay?

And it doesn't matter. The doors will stay open because we are essential....to corporate revenue. Hon doesn't care, all the corporate gold bricking scumbags are safe and sound at home laying by their pools and occasionally opening up their lap tops to run their s—s about how they care about our safety. They don't care about sh*t other than their own bottom line which is why you and I will continue to go to the factory everyday and put our lives at risk. Merry Riffmas!!
