Unfortunately this doesn't cover where companies like AT&T directly transferring job to Indian Companies like Tech Mahindra. AT&T doesn't use H1 that much directly (They hire H1-B visa via 3rd party contracting houses in massive number for very low wages - Those 3rd party Indian contracting houses also come through other AT&T Vendors, you can imagine what the H1B contractor actually gets paid? - piddly somewhere between $35 to $40/hr with no benefits! )

This is why bast**** like Sunder Pitchai, Jeff Bezos, Tim Cook, etc. wants to hire cheap labor. This is not for innovation. Very few Indians professionals who come to the USA are top of the line (That too, most of these came in 80's & 90's). The present herd coming from India (80 to 90%) are average joes...

Anyone who posts there aren’t enough qualified Americans to do the job are either corporate shills Or being paid to post otherwise

Just wait. No H1-B visas, no more technology innovation. All those already here will be OK. Just face it America doesn’t produce enough people with right qualifications to fill these jobs. Most with AT&T are contractors. They sponsor very few.

H1 B Visas is nothing more than Corporate Orwellian double speak That we would prefer to pay foreign workers 40% less Then their American counterparts plain and simple. To think otherwise is delusional

Yeah this is just a token gesture by an old fat white president to appeal to his degenerate base.. and to stick it to tech because of recent censoring by Twitter and Facebook .. it's going to have very little impact here at T.

Work can just be off shored or subcontracted to another "US" company like IBM that already has lots of contracting resources overseas.. it's all a shell game.. but sure believe in whatever helps you sleep at night

The executive order does not apply to folks who are already here and is valid till end of this year. How many folks believe H1-B's will make it to US between now and end of year if airports are not open to international flights. Now you can figure out what the real impact of this executive order will be!
Nothing!

On shore is nothing but a drop in the ocean when compared off shore. Get the stable genius to suspend that.
