Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

National Business

What’s the latest for the National Business, so far they have only released the VP list. They haven’t really announced what the plan is for Sales
Executes, CSEs, Sales Executive Retail etc.. Anybody heard anything.

every select seller needs like 12 people on a call with them to hold their hands. most of them rely on solution providers to do everything. you could eliminate the entire group and the sales results would remain the same

Fiber group is almost exclusively new business acquisition; and wireless is usually paid most on new business activations (CRU) from greenfield growth or new customer acquisition...

AVP’s and directors found out today and some tomorrow. From there they will roll out more. Orgs will be out Thursday or Friday. From there expect surplus calls one to say you are safe, one to say you are impacted, and one to say you are to take this new role here or be gone.

there’s not a mention of select or acquisition. New mid market org is probably a merger between select and acquisition.

Looks like they are making wireless and fiber teams for regional and select market. Idk if they are transferring acq reps to those positions. But my guess is they get cut off.

Not sure if you noticed but there is not a single mention of the role “Aquisition” in those emails......

Let me guess, Chris Dumba$$, I mean Donan, kept his job. That guy is one of the biggest tools I’ve ever met
