Those who chose furlough weeks ago were all told that Furlough has ended with Hertz this past Wednesday. Those who refused to come back will lose your State benefits. So you have to come back and fight the disgusting people on vacation from NY City and all major states with Covid. Enjoy it and take your own Sanitizer, Mask and shields as Hertz isn't spending any money on those or any items to help you. Where did those go that worked during the heat of the pandemic? HERTZ FIRED THEM! Laid off forever. Gone! Those were told they would get small severance pay. One empl on got $80. WAJ

For the severance pay, does anyone know when do they begin to release it (pay)after signing the agreement?
No PPE. Cars get scanned and re rented. Hertz Gold Standard is a joke. Hertz is spreading Covid 19. No VSAs means managers acting like minimum wage employees with no incentive to clean. Pressure to pump out as many cars as fast as possible. Using the same towel on 10-15 vehicles. Hertz should go down the drain. Somebody report to OSHA.

The two of you may have PPE, but we have been out of gloves for over a week, sanitizer wipes ran out this week, the hand sanitizer we have is 60% alcohol and comes out like water. On the plus side, we were issued one mask, to be grateful for as well as my job. The gold cleaning standard is a joke when cars get quick turned by management in the garage because of letting almost every VSA go. I’m happy for those that are in a location that it is provided for, but it is not like that for all of us. Not knowing who is on here, and for fear of retaliation, I will not disclose my exact location. I thought about complaining to OSHA, but it’s not worth the headache so I bring what I can with me and share. Good luck to all and stay safe.
False - PPE is provided. Severance is available to those who were laid off. A minimum of 2 weeks were given regardless of hire date.
Stop spreading false lies. PPE is provided, especially in states like NY because it is mandatory.
This is not true...you need to go through the website your gm told you to go through for severance pay. The company is still providing PPE for employees still working I still talk to some of the people from there still working. However I do wonder what the extra 80$ was for I can’t seem to find it in the adp app.
