LOL, I code software for Honeywell Aero via one of their subcontractors and was just laid off due to Honeywell demanding 30% discounts from all suppliers. There's no job security in coding either.

Not really c-ap. Aerospace has always been cyclical. 2009 to 2019 has been 10 years w/o a down turn. Odds favor a downturn. Typically starts when there are lots of orders for planes and then some of those orders start to get cancelled. Order cancellation came very fast to Boeing. Defense spending is typically boom-bust cycle too. And defense spending has been strong for many years especially the last 4. The government is printing more $$ than ever right now - by a long shot - to try to prop up the economy and Boeing has been the beneficiary of a lot of it (because they got so big). You can't prop up customer demand. It is more than a temporary virus issue.
