Thread regarding Norfolk Southern Corp. layoffs

In other words- waiting to be unemployed, that is the ones that are around still. NS has no hope of retaining any new employees, words gets out that they will hire to lay off, or get you qualified then lay you off a few months later. DO NOT accept a job offer from NS- you will have no job. They have people cut down to 2015 seniority in my district at least. You think those people are coming back after being gone for close to a year? Hah!!
