Anyone heard of any RIFs taking place today, 4/1? We’re they postponed?

It is factual and unequivocal that RIFs occurred in the month of March at AIG. This is not a statement of appropriateness for the layoff and simply a matter of FACT. AIG will not dispute this FACT.

That's really sad. I thought there weren't going to be any RIF's until the current Corona Virus situation was under control. I am wondering what department the RIF was in. I know a lot of employees are putting out fires right now for our Insured's. This is very sad and I do believe it will continue once we are back at work in the office and things are somewhat back to normal
@ceix+14g6sDFt: my first reaction is to tell you I am sorry. This is a terrible time for that to happen. But it's possible you may feel very free from the burden, too, if not now then in due time.
I just got Rifd over the phone
Once the gov supplemental $ runs out they will continue
RIFS postponed until after this crisis is over, then its going to be a bloodbath.
Chubb said no layoffs during these times, nothing from our so called leadership. That is a term I shouldn’t use because we don’t have many leaders at the top at AIG
After every pay period and I see money deposited in my bank account, I think.....ok I have another 2 weeks...that is the daily cycle when working at AIG. Before the Wuhan virus hit, I was close to landing a new job....Hopefully this crisis passes soon and the good employees can find new roles
It’s sad to work for a company that RFIs are the norm. Think about this - everyday every quarter it’s an expectation that hard working people will be let go. It’s a creepy feeling.

Because it's fully communicated across the grapevine. Does that bother you?
To answer the question, RIFs were postponed for now. I would say most hiring is, too.
How did you get this information
