Relocation Agreement Repayment

I have another year left on my relocation agreement with Honeywell and I'm fortunate to have career options even in this economy. Given everything that has transpired the past several weeks I am seriously looking at leaving in the near future. Does anyone know how aggressively Honeywell will pursue repayment of the relocation agreement? Personally I don't think it will be enforceable in court since they are issuing mandatory furloughs but I am not a lawyer. Any input would be appreciated so I can plan accordingly.

Haha, wow. Why would anyone want to continue working for this terrible company run by scumbags? Find a new job as soon as you can. Dont wait a single second.

They will come after you. Since everything is now done outside of the U.S. they go after everything.
They calculated 5 hours of vacation too many on termination and have gone after the person to repay it. Just work 40 hours a week, they will RIF you fast.

Just negotiate the cost into a signing bonus at your new company and hold onto it just in case. Other companies WILL pay you for it and you’ll probably be making significantly more in your salary as well. That should offset your concerns if Honeywell nickel and dimes you, which they probably will since they are complete scumbags.

Depends on how useful you are. Go to raytheon or lockheed and that 10k is no issue.
Wait a few months and the rifs will start. Aero mechanical is in trouble. No flight hour means no revenue. Delayed aircraft rollouts everywhere. Run.

My relocation was for $3500. I had 6 months left on the agreement and decided to leave for another opportunity.
I never heard from Honeywell about repayment. It’s been 3 years since I left.

They will pursue aggressively. I moved around 4 times while at HON DOG and they came after me for full reimbursement after I was in the role for 22 months and left for a much better role.
