Was deemed ‘essential’ by Hon Aero leadership during current local ‘shelter in place’ order and being asked to ignore the fact that my job function isn’t essential by spirit, only by the letter of law.
Now being furloughed for 2weeks? Very insulting to me/my coworkers who are diligently working thru this crisis.

If I was essential they wouldn't have given me a raise and then taken it away a few days later. Silly clowns. It is my hopes we can all get out soon.

I wonder if the people making the N95 masks, we all might need, are also getting furloughed? DA, the genius CEO , had been reorganizing SPS so he could sell off the PPE business. I would feel safer if someone other than Honeywell was making such critical products.
You’re only essential to Honeywell when they say you are. They could care less about you as an individual or employee. All about the all mighty dollar. Truth.
