Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

WARN Notice may not required for natural disasters, COVID 19 may be construed as as disaster?

WARN makes certain exceptions to the requirements when layoffs occur due to unforeseeable business circumstances, faltering companies, and natural disasters.
Does COVID 19 belong in the disaster category? Most likely Honeywell is this ruthless.

Very difficult to claim surprise given several quarters of increasingly negative guidance. Can’t wait to file a suit over failure to issue a WARN notice.

Bingo. If there is a loophole you bet Honeywell will use it.

I for one will not be surprised if this happens. Just low life swindlers, the whole lot of them.
