54 cars just hauled off this morning under court order. Never seen anything like this before. Fleet Pool Manager look liked he saw a ghost. Working the gates was boring the last 16 years until today. So surreal! It was like something out of a movie. I am really worried about my job now, but made the last cut with my senority.

I'm a contractor for Hertz. Haven't heard jack sh– about anything. Today is the day, we'll in 1 hr. This s—s my entire family made a living working for Hertz. Now we are f—ed.

Midwest AP location update. All remaining managers, Directors, and HR put into compacts immediatly. We are being told that cars are being moved next week. WTF is going on?????? GM is telling us she can't provide details. Any one else have info???
Due back to work on the 22nd. Same day that they have to declare bankruptcy. Hoping for pink slips. We make bank on unemployment.

After all, Hertz is public company, and investors, employees, and general public deserve to know what is going on.
I worked for Hertz in MSP back in the early 2000s and several old friends were laid off. It was a great company back then, offering medical benefits to 20hr+ workers, which saved me as a college student pre-ACA. My heart goes out to all the employees who got screwed by mismanagement.
Detroit update.
We are hiring 30 transporters to start the move of 1,000 cars to holding facilities to start in a few days. All transporters have a deadline to on-board by MAY 20. Why not just bring back the laid off employees? Stupid IMO.
Seeing the same thing here at my airport. I just gave a tip to the local news media. Maybe they will investigate. Kathy and her leadership team are driving this broke company into a sinkhole, and it will be the final blow to our great company. Sounds like Kathy is not going to pay the bills, and let the banks take half the fleet. She knows they can't sell the cars. All of us long term Hertz employees will be screwed while she and the Estero leaders get richer. Kathy, Paul, and Jamere have destroyed my life!

I've worked at hertz since 2015. I've never seen sh– like this. They're taking at least a third of our cars away. The good ones. Leaving only the compacts. F— Kathryn Marinello. She bled this company drier than a tampon in the desert. And yet she gets the bailout money while she lays us all off. She deserves to rot in hell, where this company is going to be for the next 5 years.

The same thing is happening at our location today. 32 cars being repossessed. Hearing more coming later this week. Managers not telling us many details.
I heard my GM talking another GM yesterday. The posters may not fully understand what they are seeing. It sounds like they are being given transfer paperwork to move cars into position for the 5/22 deadline. Heard him saying that we are moving out 800+ of our cars from our fleet of about 2700. It sounds really scetchy. We have even been canceling rent to buy reservations on all classes except compacts. Very suspicious. I believe a default is going to happen.

Hertz Corporate Employee checking in. We had several I class cars shipped away from my location yesterday and today. No explanation given, just a court order.

HLE Manager here in WI. Just had 3 L Class, and an I Class taken by court order. Area Manager could not or would not comment. Time to find another job. Hope they close my HLE so I can get unemployment.
There were 2 cars repossessed at my location. I think my job is going to be next. How bad is it when the car rental place that is renting cars hasn't paid the rent? We're doomed. The repo man was like the grim reaper of the hertz business.
