What do you have now kids? The new UP manager's salary. Take the new salary and pay off the manager's gambling debts and what do you have now? Zero.
Today's lesson was brought to you by the letter B. As in Broke.

🤣
I don’t have a new salary. My checks will be the same thru August when I get a raise. Then yes, I’ll have a new salary.
Your comebacks really are mediocre. Just like your new salary.
“We” did it “our” way because it took several of you to figure out how to do the math.
@3xzl and @1lhg. Is it more efficient to say the same thing once or twice? Or did you get so excited you figured out an elementary math trick you just couldn't contain yourself?
Either way you are subtracting 25%. Either at the beginning from 100% or at the end after multiplication. However, we did it our way to illustrate and to rub in your face the 25% deduction and obviously from the responses it worked.
@OP:
Now you know why UP needs managers.
Coping skills, must be the OCD, spell check, grammar police, triggernator. Are you also dirk Dogler the hot dog guy, lot lizard, Mike Ockballs?
Are they hiring managers now? I'm interested.
Can’t wait until the wives of these managers find out they are cheaters.....broke and divorced. Most hilarious comment on the thread...seriously. Like who cares? This whole site is full of hen peckers.
Giving up on coping skills? lol
No. You can’t do that you have to add in RRB.
What if we just took their salary and multiplied if by 75%? Or .75? Sort of simplify operations
I’m not getting a pay cut. I don’t work for UP.
LOL
Enjoy the 25% pay cut homie.
Whereas, you’ve been accused of being an id–t your whole life.
Yeah well nobody ever accused foamers of being intelligent.
I just reread the posts. Didn’t see any defense of UP.
What we have on this board is a bunch of foamers that have dedicated their lives to defending UP’s honor. Very noble.
You’ve got that right.
Chicken little syndrome is rampant on this board
You just choose to not tell the whole story. It has nothing to do with cheerleading.
Nothing I have said is incorrect and you are obviously a UP cheerleader.
You want to set the rules your way to skew the numbers. I just choose to throw it all together and get a final accurate accounting of the damage because at the end of the month, it’s what’s in the bank. But if you feel better not counting all the money, go for it. Your bottom line will be wrong and you can feel good.
Nope. I’m talking salary and you’re bringing in unemployment from RRB which has nothing to do with salary from UP and which not everyone will even qualify. If you want to call it 22.58% based on a 31 day month I’ll use the roundup rule and say 23%. Still pretty sh–ty situation you got on your hands. In reality, managers will still be working the same hours in the month because they have to cover for other managers on their week off of unpaid leave. So you may only be taking a 23% pay cut but you’re actually doing the same amount of work. So actually you could say you’re taking a 30% cut or greater depending on how bad you get the shaft if we’re getting technical.
You’re the one trying to sell false numbers. Nobody is trying to sell a 10% cut as a win. You’re so shortsighted to even recognize the math. Your emotions are getting the best of you because see this as win-lose. Everybody loses. But at least be honest.
Nobody is buying what you’re selling mr executive wannabe. Only a goon from UP would try and spin getting on unemployment to bridge the gap because their employer has cut their salary as some sort of win. I’m sure we’ll soon hear lots of stories of people being turned down for these benefits. Especially new managers without enough qualifying time from last year.
UP managers aren’t getting a 25% cut. Take a deep breath. Let it sink in.
I can’t wait to go on unemployment it’s so easy. I luv my job.
We are calculating the 25% reduction in salary for UP managers. Unemployment benefits from the RRB are not part of your UP salary.
The 25% only applies to executive level. The week off/mth equates to 22.7%. Yes they have to submit the rrb but that’s easy. If they don’t submit, they don’t need the money enough to submit. If they do, their total loss is about 10%. Not a big deal for most.
Sorry this lesson was about the 25% pay cut in salary UP is making. Any claims with the RRB you are making are on a separate form and you’ll need to ask your tutor after school.
You should have started with 22.7% and you forgot to add rrb. Then you’re at about 10% loss.
Your math is wrong.
